TechnologyPatent Pending BackupsPatent pending technology is called CncOp ( pronounced sink-up ). It's ability to transmit block level file changes is unparalleled. It means backup transmissions only include a file's minimal changes. This conserves Internet bandwidth and reduces the time it takes to send backups offsite. Say your customer has a PowerPoint presentation with 30 slides. If they add a new slide to the end of the presentation, PowerPoint will update the file's ending content, and make a small change to the beginning of the file to update the slide count. The CncOp technology would detect the changes at the the beginning of and end of the file, and just transmit those. Agent or Agentless, You ChooseWe offer two choices for backups; Agent Based or Agentless. Agent based backups offer you powerful control over backup choices and selections. Customers can use agent based backups to backup all files regardless of access controls. Agentless is for those IT professionals who would prefer to not install additional software on their server. In the example of protecting databases, you would first export your customer's database to a plain file. If you store the plain file on a share protected by Healthy Service the Healthy Server appliance will do the rest and handle the details of backing up the file to the Datacenter. Secure BackupsCncOp sends all backups using SSL encryption. This ensures all information is protected from prying eyes. And SSL means backups can flow across the Internet without the need for your customers to make changes to their proxy servers or firewalls.
